Jr. High/Sr. High

Teens face many challenges and pressures to conform to the world and turn away from God's good and right way. Rock Solid Ministry is committed to learning God's Word and living its principles. This ministry includes two age groups, a junior high ministry (7th - 9th grades) and a senior high ministry (10th - 12th grades).

We emphasize the fact that the Word of God alone is sufficient for equipping and growing these students in the Lord. This is why Rock Solid Ministries is committed to systematically teaching the Scriptures. Students come into Junior High as children and leave as young men and women.

Why are we doing what we are doing?

The Bible says "there is none good, no not one" and this includes students in 7th through 12th grades. Scriptures give the desire of God for everyone, that all would be spiritually born again (2 Peter 3:9). Here are three goals which are determined by Scripture:

  1. The desire to see repentance of sin and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  2. The desire to see students rejoice with confidence in and praise of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).
  3. The desire to see Christ fully formed in them, and that they will be used of God to form Christ in others (Colossians 1:28).

The importance of sharing this message of truth with young people, (Christ's righteousness for our sins), is both a privilege and responsibility for all believers.jrsrhigh

How are we going to accomplish this?

By teaching teens about the character of God and by praising Him and His works through the careful study and application of His word, the Bible.

This is accomplished through Bible study, games and activities so that they may have a better understanding of the scriptures, demonstrate godly character, develop friendships and share the gospel to others in their community.

Sunday Mornings: There are Sunday School classes from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. The junior high ministry meets in the Upper Room. The senior high ministry meets in the Teen Room. You are welcome to join our fellowship and most importantly, learn about our amazing God.
