Bob has served as an elder at CBC since 2008. He is also employed full time at Mine Safety Appliances (MSA) in Cranberry where he serves as Director of Advanced Technology and Intellectual Property. Bob is married to Eileen Marie, they have 5 children, Todd, Rob, Greg, Tonya and Pete. They are also blessed with 6 grandchildren, 5 of whom are here and one who is now with our Lord.
What I enjoy most about CBC: Accurate teaching of God's Word. The Holy Spirit has enabled me to learn more in my 4 years at CBC than in all my prior years as a follower of Christ..
Unusual fact: I like to ballroom dance with my wife Eileen.
My relationship with Jesus: I tremble when I contemplate the fact that the Creator of all things loved us so much that He walked among us as a man and allowed himself to be murdered for our sin. He is everything to me.
My favorite scripture: Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast"
My favorite movie: "Luther" 2003, starring Joseph Fiennes
My favorite musical artist: These days that would be Stuart Townend, I especially like his modern hymn "How Deep the Father's Love for Us". For sheer voice appeal it would be David Phelps, who is a Gaither gospel singer.
A person from history who I would like to meet: Of course we all want to meet Jesus, but I would also like to meet both Paul and Athanasius.
On Saturday afternoon my favorite thing to do: Having been born with the "engineer gene" you might find me in my basement machine shop building various things out of metal and wood.
