Discipleship curriculum
The curriculum is made up of four 12-week courses:
- Primary Christian Doctrine
- Personal Growth in Godliness
- Principles of Ministry
- Practical Christian Living
Personal Growth in Godliness
Personal Growth in Godliness , the second course of CBC’s discipleship curriculum, will be offered in the fellowship hall during the Sunday School hour in the upcoming Winter and Spring quarter (Jan – Jun 2011). In this course, we will discuss the following topics:
- Truths that Transform. Union and Identification with Christ; Faith in the Promises of God; Hope in the Plan and Providence of God
- Foundations to Growth. Love: The Great Commandment; Personal Holiness and Obedience; The Fruit of the Spirit
- Attitudes that Stimulate Growth. Passion and Conviction; Humility and Gratitude
- Spiritual Disciplines. Worship; Bible Study; Prayer and Fasting; Christian Fellowship
Workbooks are necessary. Those attending should complete corresponding lessons in advance. The electronic version of the workbook is available for download: "In the Steps of Christ: Personal Growth in Godliness".
